To service or not to service, that is the question....(10k)
10k is quickly approaching on the odometer and I was wondering what the general opinion on getting the 10k done at the dealer was. Should I do it there or just get an oil change and rotation done somewhere else? Any info on how much a typical dealer 10k service is? BTW, I own the car and plan on keeping it a while. Thanks in advance....

Ask your dealer about cost
Mine does it for $95. Not bad for almost 10 qts of synthetic. It probably won't cost much less somewhere else and the service will be included in the car's service records.
And yes, I recommend it. Especially if you are like me and you plan to keep it awhile.

Oops...my bad...I've got a free one coming at ~10k...
...forgot I'm off schedule.
My dealer did the 5k service at 1k due to time rather than mileage, so my next service is at ~10-11k.

It cost me roughly $120 for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation about 6 mo. ago. Plus,
my dealer gave me a complimentary quart of oil as the engine was still in the breakin period (Great GUY)!!
