Default Sirius Sound

Does anyone with Sirius experience think that it sounds really compressed. I am trying to figure out whether that is just how it sounds or whether something is wrong.

I have XM, but it could be an issue with your AudioPilot, just a guess...

Default I have XM, but...

similar complaint. The moment I tuned in the Sat radio, it threw me off. Really, really compressed audio. Especially the vocals are too "digital" sounding. If not for the hefty discount I'm getting with the XM, I wouldn't be extending my contract every now and then.

I also think it's highlighted by the Bose sound system since they concentrate on vocal clarity than the deep end of audio so the more you notice the "artifacts" in the digital audio signal.
