Default Cool, but the rules in Chandler may be different than Scottsdale

I don't claim to know all the laws

Just send in cash or money order with no name to avoid a lien on the car and forget about it.

Default sounds interesting. how do you know that will prevent a lien? and with cash or MO...

...you have no proof they ever cashed it in. well... maybe there is traceability with and M.O.?

Default and FYI:

a bunch of those were dismissed in Cali a year or 2 ago because it turns out most these systems are outsourced to some outfit... sometimes out of state! and the outfit gets a %-age of each citation. well, with the profit motive, guess what happened? these companies reduced the amount of time that it was on amber... to 2 seconds or something, versus the typical 4.x seconds. the result? more citations, and more $$ for them.

someone did a study that revealed that intersections with this equipment had on average shorter durations of amber light time. as a result, it's a form of entrapment - so thousands of the citations were dismissed. check for this as you research this matter. in addition, another study just came out showing that intersections with these system also have a disporportionate number of accidents (fender benders). people don't wanna take a chances and slam on their brakes.

lastly - i said it a few weeks back and i'll say it again - your wife is stunning. and please don't let her go under the knife. ;-)

Default Big brother is watching us! And it sucks big time!

Does any one know if the product(name escapes me at the moment) that is sprayed onto the license plate to distort the photo, actually works. If so I would get some if I was in an area with these systems in operation.
