I went to my local StonGuard dealer the other day to inquire about getting the front of my S4 done. He found out that there is no kit for the '04 S4. So I'm wondering how did you guys who have StonGuard on your S4s do it? Did you use the A4 kit and modify it or what? What pieces are interchangable between the 2 cars? I noticed that X-Pel has a kit, but I also understnd that they're not cut as well. The StonGuard guy also sells X-Pel, but he agreed with me that the cut and fit isn't as good with them. Any help will be appreciated!

One of the ClearBra installers in Atlanta I've talked about had switched from StonGard to X-Pel. He cuts the kits himself, and he complained that StonGard didn't stand behind their product like X-Pel does - his words, not mine.

First, how the hell did you find that? When you go through the process of selecting what car you have on StonGard's website, it doesn't list the B6 S4 Avant or sedan.

Second, is the front end of the Avant the exact same as the front end of the sedan? I noticed that the link you gave me was for the Avant.

The lady there gave me the link. She said the kit is identical for both sedan and avant.

I think that system uses the exact same 3M film that StonGard does.
