Hey guys i have been in recent correspondence with STS, a turbo manufacturing company. They deal with installing remote turbo systems in cars. They told me that it is infact possible to install a UNIVERSAL REMOTE TURBO in our V-8 S4's!!! Initially i was asking about the HEMI kit for my truck, then i had to ask about the S4. They wouldnt recommend anything over 5psi AT ALL. If we can run the plumbing it can happen. We would have to find a great chip tuner for some extensive dyno time to completely re-map the ecu. The only thing that concerns me is the fact that no one has gotten thier claimed superchargers off the shelf(minus MTM). What are the problems they are seeing with boosting this motor. The guy i spoke with at STS seemed to know his stuff and at our compression the turbos' wastegate would be sprung to bypass exhaust at anything over 5 psi. I wish some one could find out what the problems are with APR/AWE etc. on thier S/C systems. Until i see people boosting this engine often i will remain skeptical.

Audi did twin turbos on this engine. It's called an RS6.

the RS4 and the S4's engine has more in common then the RS6 and S4.

the lowest point is about flush with the exhaust(milltek=3000), not to worried about that.
