styling: s4 vs. a4 ultra sport?

wake up
first, maybe you didn't notice that i've owned three audis and i still own one.
my deal is that audi has already let many of us down with the styling of this car, and now they go a step further by coming out with an a4 package that is arguably more aggressive and more like what the s4 should've been.
i don't know how to respond to the rest of your comments except to say "yes, i can tell them apart" and "who cares what other manufacturers are doing anyway"?

I tried to read this post but
couldn't find a translation software for it
In all seriousness, though, he makes a valid point as far as a lot of us are concerned, me included.

I'm not so sure that is the Ultra Sport pkg.
The US Ultra Sport Pkg is supposed to have 18" RS6 type looking wheel's. Those look like the standard sport pkg 17" A4 5-stars.

UK? There are two versions in the UK. The SE and the Sport.
The UK Sport (which you have pictures) comes with the quattro GmbH body kit and the US 17" Sport wheels.
The US spec Ultra Sport package has the same body kit, but 18" 9-spoke B5 RS4 style wheels. The RS4 wheels look better IMHO.

More pics & details of the ultra sport package
I searched this out on the A4 forum. Here are two pics of the Euro spec so the front bumper will be a bit different for the license plates.
The US version will come with the 18" RS4 replicas as seen in the pics. 6 speed manual is available and aluminum trim comes w/ the package. The side door wings are not as large as the S4s. I actually like the front bumper/spoiler/grill better on this package than the S4. Essentially the same suspension as the S4 except it is LOWER than the S4 due to the beefed up shocks. The A4 will weigh about 400 lbs. less.
I priced it out on Audi's website. Fully optioned out with HID, infotainment etc. (no Onstar avail) you're looking at $36k MSRP for the Avant, $35k for the sedan. Expect at least $2k off that since demand is not there, no gas guzzler either. So for $20k less you get almost the same looks same interior, give up the Recaros and the V8 performance power. Do a few little mods and you'll have decent straight line performance. I don't understand Audi on this one. IMO the S4 is 5k overpriced - should be under 50k loaded out the door.
I'm leaning to get this instead of the S4, take the $20k and pick up a used sport bike, a used cruiser bike and a '65 Mustang & start restoring it. I can do a lot w/ $20k.

Re: More pics & details of the ultra sport package
Damn. I didn't really realize the big price gap between the 1.8T and the 3.0 before. A similarly equipped 3.0 is almost $42k.(Same price as B5 S4 2 years prior) Giving up only $10k to the S4. Now if only I could find a dealer willing to take custom orders for the Recaro/Alcantara seats, and custom color.
