But you are lying to yourself if you think an S4 looks different from an A4.

Until you've driven the S4, you won't be able to speak intelligently about the "difference", i.e., the whole driving experience. Before I had the chance to drive the S4, I was very much like you in the sense that I thought that the price difference wasn't worth it and that a modded A4 would give me more value. All I'm saying is try driving it first then give your conclusion, instead of judging cars based on pictures and looks. I'm not here to argue with anybody. My suggestion to you is take a test drive and tell me that the S4 is not a great car compared to the A4. The sound of the roaring V8 alone is well worth it

I saw it at AoA and the flares on the doors are no where near as agressive as the S4, the rear valence IMHO does not look as good as the S4, and is a bit cheap with the plastic mesh and peuny tailpipes. The S4, looks better, more agressive, and cleaner to me. I think Audi did it right when they introduced the ultra sport pkg...they wanted A4 owners to have the look of a sporty car with moderate to good performance...and they wanted S4 owners to have the exclusivity and stealthy sport look with max performance.

won't notice the difference between the A4 and the S4...your car, as much as you probably hate to believe does not look like an S4, from the back, front or side. In a line up...I guarantee that anyone on this forum could tell the difference in one look. Maybe if you did know cars or were a soccer mom they would be the same, just like my sister thought my 1999 passat looked like my new S4...

could you post the pics you've got of the ultrasport? people over on the A4B6 forum would be all over that...
