System check MPH Sign alarmed and posted at 81 mph

System check MPH sign alarmed and posted at 81 mph. It stopped as soon as I reduced speed below 80. Everything seems to be ok. Without going through the manual, has anyone had anything similar? Thanks in advance. Got to go to work, I'll check the site later.

To set/clear Speed 1,
- Drive at the max speed, press Check. Speed warning is set.
- To clear it, drive at least 3 mph and press Check for more than two seconds. Speed 1 warning is cleared each time you restart the car.
To set/clear Speed 2,
- With the ignition OFF. Press Check. Press again for more than two seconds. The current Speed 2 setting will be shown in the display. Use the rocker switch at the end of the wiper lever to adjust the speed. Speed 2 is NOT reset when you restart the car. To clear, Press Check. Press again for more than two seconds then press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the wiper lever.
The alarms will go off when you exeed the max speed you've set by 6 mph.
