had this done...describe your service experience.
Did they give you any problems...did they order the parts ahead of time how long was the car there and what was the loaner situation. Also, did they give you a strange look and an attitude when you showed them the TSB?

I had my car in before the holiday and they kept it overnight to hear the problem along with fixing a couple of other things. They did provide me with a rental car. They would not order the parts with just the TSB. They called today though and said the parts are now in. I am waiting for one other part for an unrelated issue and then I will take the car back for the service.

I didn't even need to mention the TSB. They already knew about it.

My car was dirty when it went in to the dealer and it came out spotless and there was no more whine. I have not heard it since! The car also feels like it tries much better. Car feels and sounds great!! The neighbors don't look at me anymore in the morning wondering why my car is going to keel over.

I never showed my dealer the TSB, I just read them the TSB number over the phone and they looked it up. That helped them figure out what part to order, because they didn't know about it. (There are a lot of TSBs for ALL audis to keep track of) Once they had the TSB in hand, it was GAME OVER!

It did take me a little while to get the parts and schedule an appointment, but only one tech works on my car and he is a busy guy.
