Does everyone know each other on this forum? There seems to be a lot of talk about things other than s4's...
So what are dp's, what do they do, how much are they, etc?
Thanks!

dp's are downpipes, made by miltek, labree, etc.. they are around 2k or so. they give you more torque and Horse power. The downpipes are the center section of your exhaust from the engine to the "cat-back" which is the back part of the exhaust.
You can also go with a cat-back which is the back part of the exhaust which also increases the hp and torque.
Are you happy with the car now? Do you want more power? better handling? looks?

The audi group has always been a pretty close tight nit group. DPs = downpipes. They are the part of the car that connecting the exhaust manifold (headers, aka the part of the exhaust system that connects to the exhaust side of each cylander) to the part of the exhaust that controls the sound (typically refered to as the cat-back portion). Downpipes consist of your o2 sensors as well as your catalytic converters.
Here are some great links for more information.

In short, by replacing the downpipes you get a free flowing exhaust. The cell count of the honey comb you see on one of those webpages is greatly reduced allowing for more air to pass through them, aka more exhaust can leave the engine faster, aka the car and take in more air thus producing more power. They also help to change the pressure that is put back on the engine (back pressure) to help increase the ammoutn of torque that is output by the engine. The maain goal of an exhaust is to allow more air to leave the engine while not sacrificing that pressure. Hope that helps.

He's just trying to get in your back seat with you, with you on top of course.
BTW, it's nice to have another woman on board, good luck with your car.
