get it replaced, and would you use them again?
Rock hit my windshield last night, small crack didn't look like a big deal. Get in my car this morning, it has spread big time.

several years ago where the shield was replaced by independent installer and it leaked, causing a nightmare of electrical problems that no one wanted to own up to.
So if it has to be totally replaced, my advice is dealer. If it can be repaired, Safelite is hard to beat because they come to your house/work.
Dealer price was $580.

The American made windshields are far superior to the original. They don't chip as easily and have less distortion. I believe they are cheaper as well! Get a PPG brand if possible.
