I'm seeing hesitation and flashing stability control light when heavily accelerating from a stop. I recall having the hesitation once before but didn't look at the instrument cluster at the time. I've been land hunting recently and was attempting to turn back onto a main road that has a pretty decent incline and while I wasn't gunning it but I was heavily accelerating to get into traffic and had this hit me. I also had a fun time reversing up a different incline with the car surging backwards instead of backing up as one would normally expect (it was pretty steep to be fair but still)

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas. I have 150 miles left on my warranty and wanted to have a leg when I take it into the dealership.

if you turn off your esp when you have to lurch into traffic it wont happen. thats what i do at least

I have the exact same "problem".... if anyone knows if this is normal or not let us know.

BTW it only happens under full pedal to the medal from a standstill though...

ESP kicking as front wheels attempt to break loose upon weight transfer.

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm happy to hear it's not truly a problem but part of me wishes it was so I wouldn't have to learn to live with it.

This has only happened to me a few times since I got the car last August but if I find it happening often I may just have to do as alpha mentions and disable the ESP when I'm having to jump into traffic.
