Default Tires for my 2005 S4

I need to buy tires for my 2005 S4. The guy at Discount Tire recommends the Continental DWS Link

Anyone have experience with these? Also, I'm considering raising the width of the tires from 235 to 245. Has anyone done this? What are some pros and cons of running a wider tire?

I have them, went 19" and wider 245... no issues at all, very happy with the tires

I love the DWS tires, I no longer use snow tires on my s4. I have 45k miles on them already, they wear very well!
Please be sure to rotate them at every oil change... my mistake, infact, I never rotated them and will need new ones this spring.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm having the car aligned and going with the 245 DWS's.

I have a 2010 s5 with the DWSs. I have about 6500 miles on them already and really don't like them. They feel like marshmallows around corners. I have never driven in the snow so I don't know about the traction. I told the discount tire guy this and he said that I was the only one that ever complained on the tire. Just lost half of the performance aspect of my car around corners with these tires.

It's unlikely. To tell, look at your valve stems and see if they look like the standard rubber valve. If so, then NOT TMPS.
