T1-S and S-03 are very close in both wet and dry grip. The S-03 is noisier than the T1-S as they wear. The T1-S is also significantly lighter. Edge to the Toyo.

The F1-DS3 has slightly better wet grip than the other two but all 3 are excellent. The F1 is not quite as good as the other 2 in the dry although I would still rate it very good to excellent.

Default but at a price. ...

The PS2 rides firmer, is slightly noisier, and has less tread life than the S-03's they replaced on my S8.

Default really? PS2's wear out that quickly?

my PS1's have lasted over 20K miles and i drive like a drunk skunk on a snowmobile. my buddy went through SO3's in 10K in his S2000. i doubt new michelin tech is poorer than the old.

Default Re: PS2 vs S-03

I got 30k miles on the S-03's (including ~2000 miles on track); but with 10k miles on the PS2's, their probably half gone.

Regarding old versus new tech, it all depends on priorities. If Michelin decides grip is more important than treadwear, that's what you'll get (and you won't get both); and I believe the new PS has much more grip than the old.

Default Funny I would say the opposite is true. BTW, same tread wear, 220, AA, A...

Everyone I talked to that switched to PS2s from S03s say they are less noisy, and are not as harsh riding. Better smoother ride. That why I switched to the PS2s. Oh well I will only find out for my self next spring.
