Re: Most dealers will do it for free, its called curtosy sale.
Mine said it would cost $500 in fees to do it through them. Is that bad? Should I see if I can get them to do it for free?

Private sales are becoming harder to do and riskier.....
While one would think with the creation of the WWW, it would be easier to move your vehicle, I have found that over the past few years, there are so many scams out there. Car theft rings and credit card fraud are also rampant through automotive websites. Ebay is such a pain compared to 3-4 years ago. The hassle factor is much higher for private sale. Just my personal experience.
