Performance cars are capable of so much - but once they go -- they go
The following link it *not* the BMW involved in the bad crash with fatality - but is a graphic reminder of the forces at work in a crash.

The guy driving the IR m3 was trying to chase after another M3. Hit something sharp in the road while going around a corner. Ended up hitting something else on the road, fliped over and the car caught on fire. How far it flipped etc... is not really known, or hasnt really been made public, but that is what I can gather from reading all the different boards.

but that guy is a dumbass for posting it all on a public forum. Not that I condone that kind of behaviour, but the driver doesn't need it posted all over the internet.
Keep that ****e on the track.

I saw accidents from irresponsible driving everytime I went on drives with the Vette clubs. Vettes, M3's S4's are not toys and can get you in a lot of trouble in a big hurry. This is a horrible story and my heart goes out to all involved.
I know it sounds stupid and cliche but with great power comes great responsibility.

was that he may have understeered through a corner (allegedly going 100+mph), caught the curb while going mostly sideways, flipped up over it, got t-boned by a utility pole, and caught fire. And the kid in the backseat burned to death. I was reading threads about this on boards all over the net the day after it happened. I'm surprised you missed the threads over on off-topic about this wreck where people were saying everyone got what they deserved, even the kid in the backseat since he "didn't speak up or get out of the car". Then there were the obligatory retard posts about Quattro would have saved them etc. Seems like there have been about 5 wrecks like this making the boards lately, all involving high end cars and young drivers. I can't wait to see what that will do to my insurance when/if I finally get into an M3 or S4. It's just crazy people can't be more responsible out there.
