Been driving for 17 years and this is the first time a vehicle driven by me has ever contacted something other than air, water or asphault.
Come to buttonwillow in April and I'll probably be showing you the lines.
Positive input is usually nice.
Do you know the circumstances of my offroad adventure? If not, go back to the B5 S4 forum, make yourself feel better, and tell yourself you will sleep better at night for doing so.

and for what it's worth, I've driven with this guy more times than anybody else in this forum (minus maybe 4 rings racer), and I'd vouge for his driving skills anytime! D.Q., you can be my wingman anyday!

well i've been driving just as long as you. in fact i've driven buttonwillow 3 times, so i consider myself to be a decent driver. but claiming a "killer bush" jumped out at you is retarded. just admit it was bad judgement because everyone knows thats how accidents happen when there is no other car involved.

And the "killer bush" is just a joke. Take it easy man, just a story, no need to ridicule people for things you obviously don't know about.

bad news for anyone in that situation. It could have been a lot worse. I don't see a bad driver, I see an aware driver that avoided something that could have potentially led to something more serious. Get the details before commenting my friend. "Killer bush" retarded? Maybe. But was it funny? Yes.....If you were in on the joke you would have gotten that.

SCCA licensed 2 different years. T-hill, Infineon and Laguna track time.
You got me on buttonwillow, so I guess thats why I mis-judged a corner doing 35 at night in the rain with an oncoming truck across the double yellow with its highs on.
Yes, I should have compensated for the wet/slippery conditions, but I didn't. Would I have gone off road under different circumstances? Probably not, considering I've driven the road dozens of times.
