Default You don't need it.

If you search, you'll probably be able to determine which of the 4 fires on an RJ11 cable are for power and ground. Cut the connector off the end, wire a fuse inline on the hot wire, and tap to your preferred power source. Ground goes to a ground connection (doh!).

Alternatively, you could call V1 and ask them which wire is positive and negative inside the RJ11.

Default It comes standard in the V1 package...

If you got it second-hand without the adapter, follow RKA's advice... Check my sig for a collection of hardwire write-ups.

Default search for "V1 hardwire montster" and you will get a collection of 10 or 12 ways

to haedwire the V1 - everyone here seems to prefer the Fuse box for the B6. havent done ours yet.
