I had a chance to go through all the country codes last night and tried out every scenario. Since it was nighttime, I used a flashlight to test Auto mode.

As you can see even though a lot of the countries have the same DRL and Fogs w/out low beams settings, they seem to do different things.

I added a row of what I was looking for. I guess to get the fogs to work the way I want I will have to do some type of wiring mod.

I would have used Canada, but I don't want my fogs on all the time.

Question, did you try any undocumented codes ?

The VAG site shows the stock code as 00013 and our cars stock code is actually 01013. I don't know what that other 1 does.

If anyone else want to try some undocumented codes, that would be great.

I think you can still do this mod in the 2003 A4, but you can't in the 2004 (just like S4).

It looks like Audi wants to prevent us from having fogs on without main beams.

So, I take it, you can't have fogs on with just parking lights...correct?

Correct. Unless you use Canada's settings. But, then your fogs are on all the time.

Well, the Canadian setting is fogs on without low beam but they are always on...
