Doubt anyone is still reading this, but I have some more info...

"If you get on RacingFLix and d/l the entire series of the Gumball 3000 from 2004 (6 videos @ 250mb each) you can see this crash. The driver was fine and went into detail about the crash. I cant remember exactly which video of the 6 it is though since its been a while since I've watched them.

It was a blown tire though just to clear it up."
