The R32 is slated to hit US shores Summer 03.
So, price/performance and fun factor comments please?
VW R32 feats:
-under USD$30k
-241hp/320Nm @ 8000rpm from a 6 cylinder
-haldex 4motion AWD
-option of the new DSG tranny
-18inch wheels
-loaded with std goodies
I dunno why the B6 S4 doesnt come with the new DSG tranny???

Because they haven't developed it enough yet to handle the torque and power of the V8. The dual clutches are smaller in order to fit, so they will be able to handle much less torque.
Additionally, the DSG has only been developed for the transverse application engines (ie in the TT & R32), not longitudenal engines.
