Default Weird response when pressing gas pedal...

Has anyone ever experienced this? You hit the gas and you feel a studder-like response. This happened when I was in 1st & 2nd gear. When I go to 3rd, it gets worse.

Help!!!!

"Drive By Wire"----euphemism for the potentiometer-controlled throttle, instead of a cable....

Default "drive-by-wire" Sounds like you just lost a bit of traction and ASR kicked in.

ASR is the traction control part of the ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP system. It activates pretty easily as you found out, especially when cornering. You can turn it off with the ESP button. I don't think the stability control "ESP" really shuts off with that button anyway-- just traction control.
