I finally got in contact with the FOM through the AoA Customer Service Supervisor. I was offered what I was seeking and all is better. It appears the person I was told to talk to has either changed positions or is no longer with audi since the response was from a different person. Somewhere there appears to have been a mix up but I thank audi for working it out and ending my problem. My faith has been renewed in AoA's backing of their product. Thanks everyone for listening to my rants.

I'm sure that there has been monitoring of this board to some degree, and the mood was not a good one as far as the opinions expressed toward AoA.
Glad to see that they have stepped up and are making things right. Sure gives me a higher opinion of them and a greater confidence level.
I won't be going into sheer panic over an ECL or phantom noises now.
