To make a short story short here it is...
Went to the dragstrip yesterday, first run, I do a slip-clutch, the clutch come half way and "stays" there while i'm revving... As if my foot was still on the clutch. I release the gas, the clutch stays half way down! I press the clutch, release the clutch and everything works fine... All my runs were fine, no clutch smell at all. My brother ask to do a run, he does a slip-clutch and then pedal to the metal and the clutch stays half way AGAIN so I told him "release the gas!!!" so he released it, he tried another start at the end of the dragstrip and does it again... A bit of smoke comes out from the hood... No clutch smell though :|
My main concerns...
1) What could be wrong because something is definitly wrong and what are the "damage" done to the clutch if it's been done once only?
2) I noticed no difference when doing other runs or going back home in the "clutch feeling".
Btw, best 1/4 I've made was 13.862, will be able to post the details later.

probably too high rpm launch and not enough slipping of the clutch (ie. you dumped the clutch). Shouldn't cause any problems other than the fact that you may need a new clutch a bit sooner. That's happened to me before. I find it difficult to hold the rpm steady. Since the car is so quiet, it's difficult to know what rpm you're at by listening, and you're too busy watching the tree to look at your guages.

Basically, you probably glazed the disc, which is common when trying to get the most power out fo the car and out of the hole.
The smoke is what would have me most concerned. You said you saw smoke, but no smell of clutch?

I've given up. The clutch just takes too much abuse trying to do it's part getting this heft moving with no tire spin. What're your 60' times? And what mph? What state are you in?
