Went for an early morning drive w/friends -- Ruf Porsche Turbo, M5
We did some fast driving on the Interstate, then some back road twisties. This was done very early morning, with light/no traffic. My new S4 is not quite broken in, but eased it up to 120 or so. Was feeling pretty good, when my friend blew by in the Ruf like I was standing still. The acceleration and speed on that car is mind boggling. It's truly awesome. He took delivery in Germany on the Turbo, then drove it directly to Ruf, who did their magic. Then shipped to US. Puts out 550 hp, 568 torque.
On the twisties, the S4 held its own. Love accelerating out of fast sweepers. Seemed well matched to the M5. We'll see after it's fully broken in.
