Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum... Recently picked up a 2004 S4, just curious what oil you all use? I've heard of people using lubro moly, mobile 1, and others, but I wanted to hear your $0.02 about what I should use.

I use 0w 40 moblie one. my father inlaw used only this oil in his corvette. he had to change something in his engine so he had to disassemble the engine and found that it was unbelievably clean inside of it. So now I use it in my B6 S4.

Ive been using Agip since we stock it at work, but like stated any decent synthetic will work, as long as youre planning on 5k intervals or so. Also we take 9.5 quarts.

I don't think I've ever had to add more than a half a quart between changes but YMMV. Audi almost certainly considers some oil use normal (and much more than most would expect to be reasonable too).
