What to pay Query - '04 S4
I have been casually in the market for an S4 to replace my (gulp!) Ford F-250 SuperDuty?!? Yeah, a big change! No rush on my part to buy.
I have located a 2004 S4 at ~11K miles. Asking price at dealer (NYC metro area; not an Audi dealer) is $38.5K. He seems to know enough about the car that I would have to assume it was a trade (not an auction car).
So, assuming he'll go lower that his asking price, what is a fair price range? I am not 100% up to speed on the S4 option packages, but I do not think this one has any A++ options that should command an atypical price.
Any advice?

well, that plan did not work out. Ya'll drive a very nice example of a car, and I think I want one even more now (7 hrs later).
