Garden hose, generic liquid car soap, a songe, and a non-leather chamois
What I use on the Porsche 993 and Audi A4. Occasionally I hit them with a coat of Turtle Wax.
I can't see going nuts when every other day it rains in Steelertown and the roads are awful re runoff/dirt/gravel/potholes on them.

That sort of noise is situational specific. If it's hard plastic rubbing against leather, insulate
the plastic with adhesive foam insulation, the fuzzy side of velcro, or some black adhesive felt.. whichever is your fav. Where are you hearing this problem?
