I've been doing 35 front and 31 rear for the past few winters. I'm curious what others are doing.

Default Doesn't the door-jamb cover 225/45-17 pressures as well?

We've been using factory pressures for our 17" snows -- roughly 39lbs f&r. Works great.

I'd worry about rim damage and possibly losing the bead @ the low pressures you're running. Just IMHO.

Default

2d the factory pressure recommend - I would also worry about outer edge wear with that low pressure

Default When I used 39 psi in front with 235/45-17 Nokia WR tires, I had too much center wear...

It appears that the wear has been more even with 35/front. I think the 17 inchers on the A4 are set at less than 39 psi by the factory. Anyone have any info?
