what is up with many of my bulbs burning out all of the sudden?
I've got 2 out right now and have had 2 burn out in the last month.
Is this happening to anyone else?

I had my drivers side tail light burn out a few months ago
then the passenger side tail light last month, but before I could change it, it came back on, only to be replaced by a burned out license plate light.

I had the same thing happen - 4 burn out over a month or 2 and then I just replaced all of them.....
including the new ones the other day so I don't have to deal with it any more.

happened to me many times in the first year
all tail light bulbs. Then one day a tech told me it was a bad design by Audi, when you drive the contacts with the bulbs go in and out and end up burning the bulbs prematurely. He gave me a redesign bulb holder I think and it has not happened again in the last 3 years.
