What weight synthetic oil does the dealer give us at oli changes? 0W30, 5W30, 0W40??

Default Be careful! This is highly dealer dependent, on my B5 the dealer used to use 15w-40 dino and the
owner's manual called for the same oil as the B6 does. I complained to AoA and they sided with the dealer, saying they were allowed to use any oil they saw fit. Don't make assumptions. Someone on here had a big problem with their dealer using the wrong weight of oil and raised hell - can't remember the handle or dealership, but was on East Coast somewhere. Remember that the dealer gets reimbursed a flat fee for the oil changes and other included service work, so if they can use cheap oil they increase their profits. Not all dealers will do this, but some definitely will.

M1 0w-40 is the only Mobile1 oil that meets the VW 503.01 spec and is Audi approved

Default Wait - I just read an Audi TSB - says ALL 05/06 models should use vw 502.00 spec oil
Still M1 0w-40 meets vw 502.00 spec

also meets vw 505/503.01
