What would you guys do, wait for B6 RS 4 *OR* B6 S4 + Lotus Elise...
I know they're not quite monetarily equivalent, but I think I can "sell" it to the wife.
As you can see, both combinations give me a daily driver, which I need.

Since a B6 RS4 in the US is still myth....
and anywhere else for that matter, I would take an 04 S4 and the Elise, or maybe pick up an older S4 as a toy car and do some work to is instead of the elise.

I'm going with the s4 plus Elise. The audi is nice and luxurious but it will never handle like the Elise; it's just too heavy. Unless you are already on the wait list it may be a while to get an Elise though....

Yes, I have to get serious about the Elise, but I've seen these "lists" before...
and there is always a fair number that fade at deal time. Congrats on your pending purchase.

Go the S4 + Elise route. Easy choice. The S4 as a daily driver is sublime. The Elise for something to thrash around in...priceless.
And so what if you wait 3 or 4 years to get your RS4 instead of 1 or 2? Lots of stuff can happen before that eternity arrives.

Thanks! I've never done the wait list thing before but
the Elise seems worth it. According to my dealer I will most likely not see the Elise until august or september.
I've wanted one since I saw it in New Zealand a few years ago.
The s4 is great I don' t think you will be unhappy if you go that way. I went for the avant it seemed the best complimment to the Elise.
