What's the difference between 04 and 05 (early model) B6 S4?

What's the difference between 04 and 05 (early model) B6 S4?
In the market for a used B6 S4, so just want to know if there's any difference (mechanically, trim...etc) between the 04 and 05. Does the 05 have the 40%-60% differential, or is that only on the b7s4 (2005.5)?

As far as i know they are the same. I have an 04 and my friend has an early 05 and they drive and look the same... only visual difference is the fin on top has been changed from a shark looking one on the 04 to a pointy one on the 05

My wife's Touareg has rain sensing wipers...I hate them. I prefer the manual setting that the S4 has
As for the lights you are correct.
From what I have seen on this forum, the 05 seem to be more reliable then the 04, but I don't think that is for all cases.

A few things...
'04 had the option for Audi Telematics (On Star) and '05 didn't
'05 has Bi-Xenons
'05 has bigger projector lights
'05 has different shark fin due to the lack of telematics
'04 had real brushed aluminum outside mirrors, whereas '05 has plastic, metal-looking mirrors.
Late '04 and on has no butterfly valves in the exhaust
I think that's it...

Some 05s lacked the engine shrouding . Also
only some of the late 04 early 05s had plastic mirrors . The mufflers with flaps were supposed to have been discontinued at mid 04 production, but some 05 owners have reported that they have the flaps on their mufflers. Perhaps Audi had problems with availability on the metal mirrors. Also maybe they had a surplus of the mufflers with the flaps? Who knows? There does seem to be inconsistancies in the parts that are supposed to be on our cars.
