getting an S4, just haven't decided what series and was wondering if the gas mileage would crush me as I do 120 miles per day commuting - mainly highway 75-80mph.... Thanks!! Awesome cars ladies and gents!

if you baby it you can do upto 22 on the hwy, but its tough. Figure 120 miles a day @ $2.50 a gallon will cost you ~$9-$15 a day in gas depending on how you drive. If you drive 90-100mph (if its safe on your roads) that will also reduce your gas mileage greatly unless you maintain your speed. going up and down with your speed really sucks the gas. constant is good. as you floor the car you will notice your gas mileage for that moment is like 6-7mpg, once you hit a steady speed and hold it, the mileage improves. If you really gas it in the city, your mileage can be as low as 7-9mpg. ouch!

I average about 16 mpg. About 20-22 mpg on highway and about 10-12 mpg city. I get about 240 miles on a tank of gas.
Before I bought the car, the gas bad gas mileage scared be a little. Now that I have the car, I could care less. Rather have the V8 power than good gas mileage. Get the car, you'll love it.
