Okay, short story time. There's three particular wheel styles I considered investing in: BBS RS GT, OZ Superleggera III & HRE C20 (not sure if this would fit, but I love the style).

These pricey, but strong forged wheels are made by reputable companies and are worthy to be on a $50K car (roughly $750 - $900 per wheel). Even though the wifey loves my S4 vs. her IS300, I just couldn't convince her to let me buy one of these wheels. In other words, the mod bug bit me already and I can't shake it off.
So, what are my other options? Answer: cheap cast wheels that look good enough and won't hurt the pocket book much. I was reluctant to go this route at first, but since I really wanted to change my wheel style to something that'll stand out, I went for it. It's not like these will be my last set of wheels forever, but I hope I can get a few yrs. outta them. And since I like the mesh style in gunmetal or black w/ a polished lip, I went w/ the TSW Kyalami Hyper Black, 18x8 from Tires.com. I got a set of (4) wheels w/ lugs and locks for about the same price as one wheel mentioned above (free S&H w/ no tax). They have a local store America's Tire Co. that can swap it out for me and then, I'll most likely sell the Avus wheels (already have one potential buyer).

(Pic above w/ TSW Kyalami on MB C230 just as an example.) So, that's it. I'll post pics when they come in after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Let me know what you think.

They're releasing some new wheels next year (RS5 and RS6, in addition to the current RS10, which I'm leaning towards (flat black model, painted glossy black and high polished lip).
The rs10s are 20 lbs for 19 x 8.5. I love it. The rs5 and 6 are supposed to be 20 lbers as well.
Just gotta make sure I don't want the RS5 or 6 before I'm set on the 10s.
Thanks to Eric @ spp, with whom I've been having late afternoon email dialogue, daily for a couple weeks now!
His customer service and genuine care about your car, plans, etc...makes me totally want to go through him even if he isn't the cheapest resource. (although, I believe he beats the competitions prices.)
I'll be doing pss9s, painted calipers w/s4 log etc all in one shot at his shop sometime early next year.
I love doing the research and planning it all out. Delayed gratification is great!
BTW, you coming to the ACNA berk g2g tomorrow?
