Default yes it was me.

but don't do it, if you plan on having a kid !

My reasons for doing it:
had an offer on 900K home.(fell through)
14mgs sucked a$$

it's up for sale and hopefully will be sold today.

back to a quick 4 door for me. for a few years anyway.
Not all that fun getting a baby seat into a hatch.
Plus, the LARGER motrgage isn't happening at the moment, so I can spend more $$$ on the car again.

the other hand, it's Quick and nimble, with just a few mods.
Easily runs with and jumps on a modded S4, FROM a roll !!!
Up to about 110mph. Know this for a fact.
Also pulls on an e36 M3, 350Z and others..... a sleeper for sure.

Still, with mods, gets about 27mpgs.

any particular questions ?

Default your car pulls on a 350 z?? whats mods??

those cars, stock have at 100 hp on the gti, and the weight is not that different, plus they're rwd so they dont get the parasitic drivetrain loss that awd cars exhibit?? what mods are you running??

Default His point is still valid

if what he's saying about the weight difference is true, i too am curious as to how a 200-250hp car pulls on a 287-300hp car. not saying kujo isn't doing it, just wondering what sort of mods he's got that allows him to do it.

Default here are the weights, 119 pound difference ...

350z coupe, 6MT: 3,339/300hp = 11.13 lbs/hp
GTI DSG: 3220/200 = 16.1 lbs/hp

quite different cars stock. even a stage two GTI (turboback and em) is only putting out perhaps, 255hp to the crank. not to discount what he said, but it was probablly the driver who was at fault and not the 350. on the highway, its a driver's race between my sti and a 350 (very different from a dig, however).

Default A 350Z runs like 13.8 - 14.0 in the quarter. THAT, I can see. What I don't understand...

Is the modded S4. WTF? Mine ran 13.38 stock. With my mods and recent weight loss program (3660 lbs), well, I don't know what it runs, but I know it's quicker than 13.38 now. No stock 350Z or modded GTI is going to touch that.

Default agree completely, still a stock gti runs a 14.9 1/4 mile ...

is a stage 2 mod good for nearly a second off one's 1/4 mile time (im actually asking a question, not being a dick cause im not a 1/4 guy)??
