Wider Tires, Stock Rims?

Wider Tires, Stock Rims?
Will wider rubber fit on these rims??? I was thinking of replacing the tires with say, 245 or 255 width and adjusting the aspect ratio to 35 or 30 instead of the stock 40. Any ideas or experience? Thanks!

check the specs of the tires you want
tirerack has pretty detailed specs, you need to find the recommended minimum rim width for the exact size and model tire you want. stay within that range or else!
