Will anti-sway bars decrease understeer? If so, which would you buy Front, Rear, or Both?

I have staggered spring rates (450lb front, 500lb rear) and a 19mm Neuspeed rear antisway bar set to stiff; my car is considerably more neutral than with stock sport suspension and stock antisway bar. As for the B6 it will all depend on what the stock hardware setup is and what might be made available to make it better.

Can't speak for Audi, but when I added a rear bar to my 94 Volvo 850 turbo wagon, I almost ran off the inside of the first hard turn I took. I was compensating for understeer that didn't exist any more. It also eliminated the tendency to lift the inside front wheel in turns.

less "inidependent". a stiffer bar in the back will make the back have less available traction then it once did by reducing compliance. thats my take...
here is a short little write up from GRM which ha teh basics..

http://www.grassrootsmotorsports.com/swaybars.html</a
