I semi-frequently have a problem when I roll up my window. It usually happens on the driver's side front door. When the window gets to the top, it slides back down about 3 inches. I have to slide the window up and down a few times before it closes properly. Has anyone else had this problem?

to move the window back done. I have seen this on my car, ended up actually being park of the plastic molding at the top rubbing it wrong and causing it to go back down. If you cant see anything something might be messed up in the window motor assmebly. If thats the case bring it to the dealer, not worth your time trying to figure it out.

The only thing I could come up with was that the pressure in the car was causing the window to mis-align. It was my right rear window that was having the problem when all other windows were already closed. I was going about 90 MPH down the highway at the time.
I ended up opening another window to relieve some of the pressure, and all was well again.

I haven't hd this on my S4, but the A4. I was also on the highway.
I tried to roll it up again and heard a snap. Brought it to the dealer and was told that the support arm had desintegrated. They replaced it and I was off and driving again.
Good luck

I sometimes have this happen when I roll up my window using my remote. I guess it thinks that there is something blocking the window from closing, so it reverses (similar to a garage door opener).
I can understand that this happens while in motion; the wind can exert force on the window, pushing it slightly out of alignment, so it hits the stuff it seals into. But I can't figure out why mine does it while stopped...
