The Blizzak WS 50 are squishy, but are great in real snow and ice. Dry performance is poor. Wet performance is less than an AW tire
Blizzak LM22 and 25 are excellent winter tires, more than adequate with the AWD but still good dry and wet road performance. The M3's are similar.
I have had WS50s, Dunlop M2 and M3. A friend has used the LM25. I am putting M3's on my new car this year.
I have never used, nor has anyone I know used, the Nokian WR, which is sort of a high speed high performance Hakkapeliitta. they are supposed to be awesome. I cannot speak to those tires personally.
