Default Worn Brake Pads Warning just came on, an hour before i leave for a 500mile road trip this weekend.
Am i safe? should i be worried. Mostly all highway miles. I know right when the light goes on, you have about 200miles left on the pads.. but will 500 be streching it?

your A4 or the dads s4?

a4.. i guess about 14,000 miles on pads.

Default i would at least have them looked at.....
just a better idea then having issues. If you have any brake noise then you really need to get them looked at.

Default no noise.. i just wanna make sure im safe for the 500mile trip this weekend..

Default as long as you dont thrash on them...
you should be fine. But like I said if you get any noise have them looked at, esp. if its a metal on metal noise.

i had them go off once when i was out of town and drove 400+ miles on them without any issues. But like I said the first sign of issues get it looked at. not worth risking your life.
