I have a set of Xenon+ e-codes on back-order, but, depending on the price, would go for '05 - I'm more after the Xenon+ than e-code appearance...

Our's uses the single xenon bulb as both low-beam and high-beam duty. There is a shutter solenoid that is activated and drops a shutter to allow for more xenon light when the high-beams are switched on. The Halogen is the supplement for the high-beam.
Since we do not have two xenon bulbs, but rather one just like the regular HID's, yet it serves two purposes, hence it's called Xenon+. :-D

"It depens what the meaning of the word 'is' is..."
BMW's and now Audi's definitions of bi-xenon are that the low-beams are xenon, flash-to-pass are halogen, and high-beams are halogen & xenon with an open shutter (thus more light output). People here refer to this configuration as xenon+.
True bi-xenon would have both low-beam and high-beam xenon and halogen flash-to-pass.

Xenon+ are the new headlights coming out OEM in the euro S4's. It is simply when you flash the high beams, both halogens and HID's flash together. Bi-Xenons are an aftermarket adaptation. You simply switch the halogen bulb with an aftermarket HID kit. I think for the Audi, you should get the 9000k. I've seen a few 1.8T's with them, BUT it looks like it belongs on a econo-ricer. Really tacky looking, because the HID kits arent as sharp of a beam and look "colored" instead of the natural white hue glow from OEM Xenons... I suggest you just get the Xenon+ but its all a matter of taste.
