hey guys, totaled my wonderful bmw 540 last week, so i think i want to return back to audi. I previously had an a4 and a allroad. i would prefer one with CPO, and mods are ok. My 540 was pretty quick had some Dinan upgrades, will the S4 be just as quick.

i think around 325hp, cant remember torque. I could keep up with an e46 m3. I keep hearing horror stories how the m3 kills the S4, is that true. I didn't want to get a slower car.

The M3 may be a touch faster to 60 than the S4, but I think the S4 is a better overall package. The M3 falls a bit short on TQ for me. My only complaint about the S4 is it's weight (~4000lbs). The car would be amazing if it weighted in 300 pounds less IMO. Have you driven the S4?

I gotta say stock for stock I think the 540i is faster. It was about as fast as my S4 with mods. This is butt dyno only keep in mind.

what mods did you have on the s4, wow s4 mods are expensive.

I only had chip and catback exhaust for engine mods. The car really woke up when I got the downpipes.

And yeah S4 mods can be expensive but most of the products out there are quality.

The 540i didn't get very far this day

True, even if 0-60 times are similar, the S4 will dominate the entire rest of the driving experience
