I bought mine (brilliant black S4) at the end of January. Never had a black car prior to this.
It's hard for me to wash without getting waterspots unless I use a chamois to squeege it dry followed by a soft non-abrasive cloth.
I've tried Liquid Glass and then MacGuires polish but unless I dry it I get waterspots. A friend told me to use Zymol and see if that would work? Actually, I do not care because black looks so good even a few waterspots can't spoil my delight.
I'm thinking about getting the glass tinted to help with the black penchant for collecting heat, however I can't decide if I want tint and I don't want to think about someone crawling around inside the car during the installation process...I'm going "****" about these kind of things at the present time!
Congrats on the Brilliant Black S4, imho I think it's the best looking car in the best looking color. Of course I'd take an S4 in any color!

It took me so long to decide what color! Read on:

When my S4 will be deliverd, my dealer puts a special Teflon (Protech) coating on my S4, the Protech version is a relative thick teflon product and they guarantee it for 5 years. 5 years no waxing needed and best protection.
This company does all the Porsches and Ferrari's here in The Netherlands.
I think I want tints to, I think a bit darker would be nice. The tints of MachtigAvant look nice, I don't know his colour and %!
