Washing the car yesterday and and im going to clean the trunk and the dang thing wont open!
Tried the key and the button inside and no go, I had to open back seat and climb into the trunk to open it using the emergency handle? WTF LOL
Calling dealer on Monday to see when I can get car in and get a loaner.
Keep you guys updated? And has anyone else had this problem?

Did you or someone else turn on valet mode in the glove box by any chance?
Buddy of mine bought a second hand 2008 A4 and had the same problem, couldnt open the damn trunk anymore
then later it turned out one of our other friends had openend the glove box and had a classic case of "what does this button do?" and turned on valet mode.
and yes, it really was "my friend" and not me... My car is an S4, as it should be![Big Grin](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
let me know if this was it, if not keep us posted on what turns out to be the problem, in case anyone else also gets it sometime

Is that what that thing's for? (grins)
Hey, is there a place to store your wallet when you're at the gym that's more out of way than the center console? In my 2007 A4, I used to store my wallet in one of those bins under the seat because they're out of the way and not the first place someone would look if they broke into your car.
The new S4 doesn't have 'em anymore (something else that was decontented). The glove box is too cumbersome cause you have to take the dang key apart to unlock it!
Speaking of wallets, I had to get a new one because my flat Audi key fell out of the old one and got lost. Can you order a replacement key at the dealership? How much is it going to cost me for that little piece of plastic?
