Thought I posted this before:
I will be getting a set of 18" all seasons for my winter tires. Probably Conti or Michelin.
Looking for suggestions on an inexpensive, but not cheap (poorly made) wheels to go with them.
Is a budget of $700-$800 a reasonable range? Not looking for BBS, VMR, or O.Z high end stuff for wheels that will be in bad weather.
I did do a search and turned up little that covered this question.
Thank You,
EE

I'd suggest you check out Avant Garde's line of wheels. They are low pressure casted wheels. Although VMR is gravity casted wheels, they have a pretty good reputation and people love them. 18" you can find them for around $800.

I've also been looking at Alzors:

That is correct, as a whole not each. Would like to keep the budget around $1200-$1500 for tires inclusive.
I have been watching the classified and put in a WTB as well. Seems wheels are as hot as homes were 8 years ago. The good pricing gets snatched up right away.
Thanks for the links. ECS has some other things I want so maybe the will bundle price?

As for wheels, I personally have been thinking and even posting at times about various options. My summer tires are about worn out, and my 18" OEMs are not in perfect condition (mostly from previous owner). My plan now is to mount winter tires on the OEMs and make them dedicated winter tires. Looking at Ti 5-spoke replicas for summer with new rubber. 19s would look great but will probably go with 18s to have money for some other stuff. The roads mostly suck out here anyway, so 18s would likely ride and survive better.

Zulu, Those are nice suggestions, but still beyond my budget for now. I was thinking if you like the peelers I will trade you them as soon as I get the S4 for the Ti look alikes?

These were on it before it was smashed in a hit and run. I liked them but the black is nicer then gunmetal on my black car. Also 4 lbs per wheel lighter.18 x 8 +45 offset $171 each

I have the Elbrus IO2 from Tire Rack. Inexpensive and easy to clean, making them good for winter duty. Also, ET35 so they fill the wheelwells about the same as the wider 19's and don't look tucked with the narrower tires.
