I have a B8 A4, but the difference in ride quality between my sport pkg 18s and my current 19s was minimal. Of course, a lot of it has to do w/ tire selection.
What aspects are the most important to you? Performance? Comfort? Aesthetics?

The 19"s on this car are quieter and smoother than the 18" runcraps I had on my 135i. On a side note I had the pleasure of receiving my first S4 flat this past Friday. Waiting for tire to come in today. Dealer had them but wanted way too much. Unfortunately nail gauge was in side wall so it was unrepairable! $328 for tire and mounting. Still cheaper than the 18" runflat. I prefer the styling of the 19"s and am quite happy with them. PITA to clean though!

On this car, I only ran 18" wheels for the ride and the fact that the stock OEM 19" are cosmetically challenged IMO i.e b**t ugly (flamesuit on). The stock 18" wheels are much better looking than the OEM 19" IMO. My last cars 35's were too harsh though. I beefed up the width on these to run at least 255's on 18/40s. What are you going to run DrV?

I ordered some Advans, 19x9.5. They won't look as big as the stock 19's since the 5 spoke on the stock rims goes all the way to the edge of the wheels. Give the appearance of a larger rim. My new rims will have an actual lip to them and probably look more like 18's. lol
