19s Look Better on the Car than Expected
Bought mine in Jan and where I live even the dealer was afraid to drive the car with the stock tires. Had blizzak WS-60's installed before it hit the roads. Put the 19s back on this weekend and though in typical pictures they don't seem all that fashionable they do look pretty good on the car in real life.

The 19" wheels get a bad rap. I really like how they look and Audi has expanded the use of that tri-spoke design to A6 19" sport package and Q5/Q7 S-line models. They may not be easy to keep clean (brake dust) but they look great.

19s are the perfect size on the B8 sedans IMHO. I've heard ppl recommending 20s but there is such a thing as wheels that look too big, and many designs in 20" look that way on B8 sedans. I felt that 255/35/19 tires looked a bit beefy on the 19s tho so I went w/ 245/35/19s on mine.

Yup - I completely agree. In photos, the 19s look flat. However in reality, the middle spoke is contoured. I was convinced I was going to be buying BBS wheels for my S4, just as I did for my BMW. However at this point I'm keeping the stock 19s - I really like them.

I have been a 17 inch wheel guy, hard core, for 5 years on the BMW. But the B8 chassis just looks great with a 19" wheel. I was not going to pay for upgraded wheels until I saw a car without them. I'm glad I went for it.

When I'd originally ordered a 2010 A4, I was all ready to switch with the sales mananger who had relatively new 18" RS4 wheels on his own car. But, as soon as a saw an A4 with 19" RS4 wheels, I changed my mind!
I feel the same way about the three-spoke wheels on the S4 because they're a bit more aggressive, but also more complex & articulated. In fact, I think Audi hit a home run with them, though I wish they were a bit more exclusive. When I'm at the dealership - I see them everywhere!
