Default opposing view

would prefer to have fewer electronics in my VWaudi... TorSen are basically bulletproof. My only concern is that this now starts the path to the unknown drivetrain 'issue' of the future.

I keep them long enough to find these issues...

But, I'll risk it and opt for one in may new S4 WAGON, in MY2011.

Default Re: If standalone, it should be less than $1000.

it won't be standalone. check out the uk configurator -- it requires drive select. and in the us, we don't get individual options so much as packages

Should be standard on this car. Who wouldn't want it?

Default For $3K, I would have to think about it.

Especially if the car is only driven on the street and infrequently in the snow.

Default It doesn't have to be bundled. It could go either way.

It's standalone in Germany. I agree there is a good chance it will be bundled in the US.
