Take a look at the hard facts and you will see the new 2010 S4 is poised to be the leader in this
segment. The question has to be asked, if the Audi S4 was always the BMW M3’s competition,
what will we see from Audi to compete with the M3?

..............
for external 'styling accent' differentiators, there is also*
- different rear trunk lip - dare I say spolier profile on S4 - more pronounced and
- for Front Grill and Bumber there is - if you look closely - sharper body crease adjacent to Grill ...along with unique Grill Chrome.
Not going to rock the planet, but given the subjet was raised;-)

Not only is the T letter not used by anyone else for supercharging, the V6 part is nothing to get excited about. This is not a Camry or Accord where people want to proudly announce that they bought the six cylinder version. A V6 is nothing special for an S4, or A4 for that matter. What's next, an "I4 T" fender badge on the A4 2.0T?

Hell of a website you have there amigo. I'd buy a car from anyone who appeared to have the passion you do for the brand. Funny enough I've seen a blue B6 A4 down here in NoVA with a personalized tag that reads iamaudi.

I really appreciate the positive feedback; it truly is what keeps me writing articles for everyone. I love the Brand and I want to help it grow; with Audi enthusiasts like everyone hear I keep having fun.

I think the lack of difference visually is the point. My B6 S4 has suprised more than a few takers.
My dealer has received an initial shipment of launch cars. I plan to drive one in the next day or two.

I suspect that it will be the first thing to go for anyone who is, even remotely, inclined to debadge their vehicles.
I'm not one of those guys but even I would consider removing it.
I'm not a fan of Audi's latest trend of putting the V8, V10 (and now V6T) engine badges on the flanks of the S models but I can live with it.
In my opinion, if Audi feels they just have to put a badge like that on the flanks of the S4, the thin "Supercharged" badge from the A6 3.0T would be a better call.

v6t badge seems cheesy. Who brags about a v6?
I mean the v8,v10, etc badges are cheesy too, but atleast, no one thinks twrice about it, because, v8 , v10 likely mean potent. v6 is something as someone pointed out Toyata might slap on the camry or honda does on the accord, or hyundia does on a sonata.
Somehow throwing a v6 badge on the car, makes me go, why so slow, and why are you bragging about being slow.
